Who builds AI-powered websites for small businesses in Bristol and the South West?
Senderra Ltd builds AI-powered websites and business tools for UK SMEs from Thornbury, near Bristol, and works with businesses across Bristol, the South West and the rest of the UK. Fixed-price packages start at £899 (plus VAT) and are delivered in 2–4 weeks. What is an AI-powered website?
At Senderra it means two things. We use AI-assisted development tools, so we build faster and at a fixed price. And we build sites that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews can read: content served as HTML, structured data, an llms.txt file and a robots.txt that welcomes AI crawlers.
How much does a website cost for a small business in the UK?
Senderra's fixed prices are £899 for a Quick Start single-page site, £2,499 for a Website of up to 5 pages and £3,499 for an Operations Dashboard. Bigger projects such as booking systems, client portals and integrations are priced on application. Optional support is £99 a month. All prices are subject to VAT.
How long does it take to build a small business website?
Our packages are delivered in 2–4 weeks: 2 weeks for Quick Start and 3 weeks for a Website or Operations Dashboard. We take 50% upfront and 50% on delivery.
Will my website show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews?
Nobody can guarantee that, but you can make it much easier for AI tools to find, read and quote you. We serve every page as ready-made HTML, add structured data describing your business, publish an llms.txt file, allow AI crawlers in robots.txt and write FAQ content that answers the questions your customers ask.
Do I own my website?
Yes. You own the code and assets from day one, with no lock-in. Ongoing support is optional.
Do you only work with businesses in Bristol?
No. We're based in Thornbury, near Bristol, and work with small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. Consultations are 30-minute calls, so where you're based doesn't matter.
Can you build booking systems, dashboards and customer portals?
Yes. As well as websites, we build booking systems, operations dashboards, quote calculators and customer portals. For example, we built Senderra, the customer booking and visibility system Send It Direct's customers will use from 1 November 2026 to see their consignments, invoices, GHG emissions and proofs of delivery.
Is this the same Senderra that built Send It Direct's booking system?
Yes, it's the same Senderra. Senderra Ltd (company number 16632208) built Senderra, the customer booking and visibility system for its sister company Send It Direct, and builds websites and tools for other UK SMEs. Who is behind Senderra?
Senderra Ltd was founded and is led by Ben Thomas, who is also co-founder and Operations Director & CTO of Send It Direct, the Bristol same-day courier.
